Business Analysis and Architecture
Having a business analyst on the project is an incredible joy for an architect. After all, there's someone to extract high-quality functional requirements from vague business wishes.
How often is such joy available to an architect? Very rarely.
Often the architect has to extract the functional requirements themselves.
For this special skills are needed - ones the architect didn’t acquire along the engineering path.
How often do architects possess these skills? I haven’t met a single architect who does, including myself 🤷♂️
While studying business analysis, I created a small cheat sheet with techniques💡
I’d be happy to get your feedback.
